Trustee Board
The role of a Scout Group Executive Committee is to manage and support the Scout Group by handling its
administration, finances, and legal obligations, allowing Scout Leaders to focus on youth development.
The committee is responsible for the group’s long-term vision, ensuring a safe meeting place, managing
equipment, raising funds, and maintaining insurance. It is accountable to the Group Scout Council and
ensures the group can effectively and legally deliver Scouting.
