Who We Are
BMHC Scouts Group is an active and inclusive Scout section serving the Whalley Range and South Manchester communities.
We exist to empower young people with practical life skills and positive values through adventure, teamwork, and service.

About BMHC Scouts
BMHC Scouts is a thriving Scout group based in South Manchester. Established in November 2014 as the first Muslim Scout group in Greater Manchester, the group began with only three volunteers and a handful of children. Over the years, it has grown organically into a vibrant community.
Today, we proudly serve a large and diverse membership of over 150 young people, supported by more than 25 trained volunteers and an active parent community. Our programme is inclusive and open to all, integrating core Islamic principles in a way that enriches everyday Scouting — shaping character, service, and reflection.
As our volunteers and young people progress, they gain confidence, form lasting friendships,
develop a strong sense of purpose, and engage positively with wider society.
In short, we’re shaping confident, compassionate, and capable young people — ready to serve, lead, and make a lasting impact in their communities.
